Jeep Tractor

Just bought this and don''t know much about it. It has a number of Model T parts with a Chevy transmission and a truck ruckstall rear end. Runs great! Jeep engine, but not sure which.

Your tractor shows a great deal of ingenuity.

I'm seeing a flathead so, without better pictures, I'd guess it's the WILLYS 4-cylinder motor that was in the Whippit in the 30's and which made it's name as the powerplant for the legendary WWII Jeep.

Never thought the little 4-banger would be overkill but that's alot of power for a lawn tractor.

I traded a log splitter for it. It is a Willys flathead. I've added some new tread Jeep tires to the rear end and other mods to make it run and start better.

Man that's kinda cool . If you don't have a tractor a Jeep is probably the next best thing. There was a push to sell them to farmers after the war, I've been told. I would have bought it also. What are your plans for it?

I really don't have any use for it other than I like to start it up and hear it run. I have several other John Deere stationary engines.
