Recently I purchased a 1967 CJ5 with a V6 and a T98 4-speed transmission.
Sources say a 1967 with V6 was not available with a 4-speed. Sources say the T98 was produced from 1948-55.
The V6 engine code (DRH 094) on this Jeep suggests a 1969 engine. The VIN (8305 S 22XXXX) for this Jeep is 11 digit and it agrees with 1967, but all decoding info, I find, cannot help extract proper info from the last 6 digits.
I write this to say--"To retain sanity after hours of Jeep research I may need to move on and enjoy my "Frankenjeep" as they call them--when conversions of parts and pieces bring uncertain new identity."
Larry's Comment: According to my sources the Warner T-98 4 spd. transmission was available from 1955 through 1970. However, it appears to have not been standard with the 225 V6 which had the Warner T-14A 3 spd. trans.
Your engine I.D. does seem to indicate the 1969 V6 motor.
