1969 Kaiser Jeep DJM-5A Dispatcher 100

Recently purchased this from a soybean Farmer in Indiana. This original 20,000 mile Jeep spent the majority of its life in storage.
It was used as a backup mail delivery Jeep in a small Indiana town where there were 2 Jeeps assigned, and only one used for regular service. This unit was the back-up and until 2011 only used for 1,800 miles, when the other Jeep was down for service.
When the post office was closed, both units were sold at auction. I located this Jeep while driving down I-9 in Fairmount, Indiana while attending the James Dean Festival. My son spotted it on the side of the road for sale. It's an amazing survivor - No Frills, but everything is in good working order. We have plans to keep it original and take it to car shows.
We love the fact it has Power Steering, Left Hand drive and an automatic 2-Speed Powerglide transmission. We'll see you out there at the Rallies!
