I drove it off the lot in 1974 (October) and I still have it.
It had a Fisher plow attachment (snow in Maine). The ignition tumblers are now worn enough so that most any key will start it. The original key (Ayuh, I still have it) is almost flat! My son & daughter both drove it during High School.
My very first automobile. I have a lot of good memories in that Jeep.
Larry's Comment: I like those 2-door full-sized Jeep Cherokees.
If you have a good (actual) photo JP you might send it along to add to your story here. I'm sure others would like to see it as well. I know I would.
