We purchased a used 2006 JEEP Liberty, and We LOVE it!
Since we have had it, there was leak after driving and then parked in the garage.
We have had it to the dealer 3 times and it is still leaking.
1st - LEAKING replaced pan gasket
2nd - LEAKING found JEEP memo saying not to use a pan gasket, use RTV
3rd - Service said they had it up on a lift over night and is not leaking. What we are seeing is other fluid flying underneath and dripping.
It has been about a month since being in the JEEP service shop. Again we talked to the service people and told them it is still dripping.
We have only a 90 day warranty from the dealer.
We are concerned this drip may be something major.
Anyone else have this problem?
Larry's Comment: You did not say what the leak was Richard...oil?...transmission fluid?...radiator coolant?...
Either way, I would demand that the dealer fix the problem while under your 90 day warranty. If you still get no satisfaction I would ask for a full refund, or take legal action against the dealership.
