'97 TJ Sahara..need help from real TJ lovers

Always loved the TJ style Wrangler..I do research everyday on ideas..it's a passion I've had for 15 years.
I started building mine 2 years ago but I now have a 4.0L that feels like a 4cyl; and misses. I've replaced almost every sensor, all new performance ignition, wires, plugs, distributor, etc. I did a performance snorkel, 4 whole injectors, etc.
When scanning I'm getting 11 codes in which 3/4 of the codes describe problems from new parts and sensors. Also, the speedometer quit working, fuel gauge shows empty at 1/4 tank, and now recently the odometer quit working. I've tried to fix them, then a shop tried 4 times (good shop). Sounds like the computer to me.
Before I do any more, any comments or ideas would seriously save me right now. Summer's half way gone...please help!
