I bought this Jeep for 1,800 dollars from family and it is a '95 Cherokee 4.0L in great shape, and set up to tow. Here is my story:
Since the family bought it in '95 we had a whopping 100 dollars (most of them our own fault) in repairs. We have changed the oil every 3500 miles and done most of the scheduled maintenance.
This thing is great. I have amazing power and I can tow it behind my RV all over the country. Never ONCE has it let me down.
The whole family has used this car. It handles great and it is a blast to drive. I also tow a small utility trailer with it and a 4 wheeler. I can sleep in the back and that is a big money savings vs a hotel, and more comfy than a tent.
I will never sell this Jeep. I am willing to invest any amount of money in it because other cars do not impress me and make me as happy as this Jeep.
Larry's Comment: In my opinion a paid-off Jeep is worth putting the small amount of money required to keep it going...compared to the mega-bucks for a new one. Good call Hunter!
