An orchard owner wanted his help to start riding quads. So, he sold all his Jeeps in one day for $700 each. I bought two.


Larry's Comment: Barney...you lucky son of a gun! Man...I have found some good deals, but nothing like this (drooling with envy).

What do you plan to do with your Jeeps? Do they run well? Are they in good overall condition? Does the photo above contain your 2 Jeeps?

Sorry for all of the questions, but finds like these are so rare.

That's a Steal Man

That is a Steal of a deal for the Original American CJ Jeep. I wish I could pick up one at that price in that condition. I paid nearly 4,300 USD for a Indian Army hand down.
Orchard jeeps

I bought three. The yellow, the blue, and incredibly, the silver, a 1979 Silver Anniversary Renegade. But after driving the 1978 blue and silver home the owner forgot and sold the yellow to another guy. Both have the big six. The copper Jeep, nearly flawless, was bought by another orchard owner or I would have grabbed it as well.

I have been into Jeeps since 1975 and in all that time, I have never seen anything like this.

Both Jeeps are in pretty good original condition. The blue Jeep has the hard to find stock four speed. Big six. Since buying them I bought the parts I needed reasonably off ebay.

So today both silver and blue are complete. I have a cj3b and a 1972 cj5 Renegade that I leave the tops on for winter use. The blue and silver Jeeps I run without tops from Spring through Fall. I like Jeeps best without the tops on.

The farmer had seven cj's total, and I wish I could have bought them all. But with four Jeeps and an FJ40 my shop is a tad crowded.
