2006 Jeep Rubicon - "Natalie"
A few years ago a good friend of mine took me camping. He decided to let me try four-wheeling with his truck, and from that moment on I KNEW that I wanted a Jeep. It has always been difficult to afford the one I wanted (a Rubicon).
Two years ago I finally had enough money to buy a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I took it to some trails in Colorado. Nothing too serious, but still fun.
After about a year or so, some tourist decided to get into the fast lane going 30 mph and I didn't have time to slow down enough.
After the accident "Candi" started to get glitchy. The console lights would flash off and on constantly when making a right hand turn. Then it got to the point to where the lights would come on and off when the car was parked!!!
Talk about frustrating! Every time I drove at night, I would have drivers staring at me in confusion while Candi would put on the light show.
After six months or so the radiator cracked on the highway. I decided to donate her to charity, so something good came of it. She was a good Jeep.
Well, I decided to do some research for Jeeps again, but this time I wanted a Wrangler. So two weeks later I found "Natalie". A 2006 Jeep RUBICON!
I was more excited than a puppy, ready to pee all over the carpet!!! I wanted to keep her stock, but that didn't work.
I purchased seat risers, Kenwood cd player, nerf bars, oh s**t! handles, a Hi-lift jack with the offr'd kit, and a Superwinch. Its crazy. And I said that I wasn't going to do any of that! But after being stuck twice I'd figured the winch would come in handy.
I am debating on a 2" BB Kit with better shocks, 265-75-16 tires and quick disconnects. This is crazy!
But I love my Jeep!
Larry's Comment: First Candi...and now Natalie.
Wow! You stepped it up a notch or two with Natalie didn't you Jay?
Love the Rubicon. I can see why you are so excited. It's (or she's) a beauty!
