Dad gave me his Jeep when he stopped driving

This past February my Dad decided he had reached the age where he needed to stop driving. He had me take him down to AAA and have the title to his 1995 Jeep Wrangler (46,000 miles) transferred over to me. I was so proud of him for doing this on his own and even more proud to be the one of three kids he wanted to have his "baby"!


The day he bought it he took the back seat out because he found a tool box that fit perfectly so, the back seat has never been sat on. I have done a couple of fun things to it to personalize it and make it mine. Since I have had it I have taken it off-roading to both our local mountains and the mud hills out by the Salton Sea. I drive it on the street once a week to work and as my Dad says, "It rides like a shopping cart."

I love my Jeep!

JEEPS ARE GREAT

Jeeps are great, especially when you receive one from your parents with a lot of childhood memories attached. I had bought a new one, the Mahindra THAR CRDE 4x4. I take my sons for off-roading whenever they come to Himachal Pradesh,India on their short visits from their busy work. There are a lot of tractor routes in Himachal Pradesh where normal vehicle driving is impossible. My sons love it.
Finally got a great deal and sold my Dad's Jeep

The lady that bought it fell in love with it. It truly was love at first sight. I took the money I got from my Dad's Jeep and purchased my own 2017 Rubicon and I couldn't be happier. It has everything and does more than my Dad's Jeep ever could. I am a desert rat and love going off-roading so, my "Ruby" was an excellent decision.

I love my Jeep!
