I owned a 2007 Jeep Commander 4x4. It was white with gray interior.
It certainly wasn't my favorite all-time vehicle, though it wasn't the worst I ever had, either. The gas mileage was horrible, only getting somewhere in the ballpark of 10-12 mpg. The interior was extremely roomy and comfortable for myself, my children, and any company I may have had, and I was able to throw my dogs into the back of the jeep without worrying about running out of space.
I loved the boxy/blocky look of my jeep. It somewhat resembled a Hummer, but on a smaller scale and it drove like a tank (but not in a good way). It was awkward and bulky to drive, and was certainly not luxurious on the road in any way. Every bump was felt, and it had a lot of blind spots. I was so terrified I was going to run over somebody or something that I avoided driving it at all costs.
I eventually traded it in for a smaller, sleeker luxury car last December because I just wasn't comfortable in my Jeep.
I don't recommend it to people who are more accustomed to driving smaller vehicles, and if you don't necessarily need all the seating and cargo space, it is a waste of gas and resources.
