Jeep Bias over Hummer!

Hummer H2 was built by AMC by the way not Chevy. It has some GM components but is not just a GM truck. Editor's Note: The Hummer military H1 was originally built by AM General, a subsidiary of AMC.

GM commissioned American Motors to build the Hummer H2 just as it was commission as a government contractor to build the H1 military version. AMC built H1 Humvees and the original and better Jeeps...CJ-7s and CJ-5s as well as military jeeps.

H2 has a higher ground clearance than Jeep and the independent suspension enables it to rock crawl directly over rocks. Solid axles on Jeeps are not as able to drive directly over same obstacles that H2s can.

H2s tested against Rubicon Jeeps by 4 Wheeler magazine (unbiased) ran all the same trails and bested the Rubicon, especially in the Dunes of Dumont, CA. Plus, when I go to tow my 8,000 lb boat, there's no way a Jeep Wrangler can tow it. Not to mention the fact that the ride and comfort of the cabin are far better that the Jeep Wrangler.

Hummer H2 is a clear winner. Tons of weenies driving Jeeps out there, not many Hummer H2s. H2 is a head turner...the Jeep...ummmm, not so much.
