In 1960, Dad had TEX'S Mobil located in south Seaside Park N,J.
I was 6. I learned at a very early age to drive a Willys. He had a couple used for service trucks that were Willys'.
City slickers, we called them, would come down from NYC and Philly. Thinking they could go anywhere.
Dad made enough money off of them to go all winter selling gas only while raising 8 kids. Life was good.
I'm restoring 2 of them now in Kansas. Need 6-volt wiring for foot start and the whole thing.
Thanks, Joe
