Landy is top off roader

Well sorry if I ruffle a few feathers but Land Rovers have proven time and again they will leave the Hummers and the Jeeps for dead in hard going.

However, I must say...don't see too many "Landy's" around here except at the Malls, grocery stores and Country Clubs.

What does everyone else think?

The first Land Rovers were developed using used Military Jeep parts... Both are better vehicles than a H2 or H3.

You must specify which Land Rover will top its American counterparts. Surely it would be the "D" Series 90, 110, or Defender. The other series are very unreliable.

Hummer H2 and H3 are paste. Jeep CJ thru JK, Defenders and the old FJ Land Cruisers are the MARK when it comes to off roading.

Well, for their price they damn well better be! I agree that the Land Rovers are nice, but a Defender is much higher priced than a Wrangler. When Land Rover makes an off roader as cheap and as capable as a Wrangler then we'll talk. I like the Land Rover Defenders, but their price is just too high.

And one more thing...Let's not forget that the first ever Land Rover, the Center Steer, was made on a Jeep chassis...
