My 1996 Jeep Cherokee is the greatest vehicle I have ever owned. It runs smooth and has never let me down. This jeep has gotten my family safely through snow as deep as the bottom of the frame several times. Other than having normal garage visits for things like annual tune-ups, regular oil changes and tires, my jeep has had no repair expenses. It has been paid in full for nearly 9 years and costs me very little to run. The price of gas isn’t an issue for me since I have no car payments. It typically gets about 21-24 miles per gallon. The real amazing part is that it has over 343,000 miles on the original motor. The body looks like new. I am going to have to have the seats recovered as the vinyl is showing wear and cracking. Many of my friends have purchased a jeep because of the performance and durability of mine. Some people have kidded me about my jeep having so many miles and have asked when I am going to get a new vehicle. I tell them that I am going to keep driving it until it will go no further. I will definitely buy another one.
