I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited 3.7L v6. It is a very good engine, and I believe it puts out about 220 horsepower. It is pretty responsive for an SUV, and delivers decent fuel economy. However, I have had some transmission issues since I have owned it.
I have never taken the Liberty off road, but have driven it through snow. I love the way it handles it like snow is nothing. However, this is my first truck and I don't really have anything to compare it to other than my old Dodge Avenger.
As far as marketability, I see a pretty even distribution with men and women owning a Liberty. I actually have 2 female friends who own the base models with the 4 cyl. engine.
