My Second Best CJ Ever

When I was 28, 30 years ago, a guy ran an ad in the Eugene Oregon classified.
"Like new, 1971, CJ-5, hard top, carpet, 2000 miles, V-6 with four-speed, $1500."
I called the guy and said if the Jeep was as good as it sounded I would buy it sight unseen if he would drive it over to Bend Oregon, where I lived.
I said I would pay him cash and give him a bus ticket back to Eugene. He agreed.
Sometimes, ya just get lucky!
