(Florida)
Half of my family owns a Jeep of some kind. We make family a weekend of going out mudding.
We'll pitch a tent and just have a great time. We live in south Florida and there's a place called Palmdale that opens up every holiday weekend and hundred of people bring their Jeeps, 4 wheeler, and dirt bikes.
I personally own a '83 Scrambler. It has been modified so I can hang with the big boys in the middle of the mud pit.
My Scrambler is a 4x4, obviously. I love my Jeep and have had it for a good while now. I would buy another one, if anything devastating ever happened to the one I have now.
But for me, Jeeps are toys. There not really something I wanna drive back and forth to work, or grocery shopping. Now a trip to the mud pit or the beach and we're there.
