I recently purchased a 2008 Jeep Patriot. It has more height room then the compass and the dodge calibur. I got the metallic blue color. I am happy with the gas mileage averaging 27.9 miles per gallon. Also it is great on wet roads and throughout my farm yard. The factory stereo goes load and has geat bass. I took it already to my Aunts on a four and a half hour trip ran great and smooth. My major complaint is that when a back window is down and all others are up it makes an earaching noise. The noise is hard to explain but untolerable. I do have 3 kids and the vinyl seats are very nice and easy to clean. The interior is dark all except the roof which is bright white, i already got finger marks on the passenger side by the visor. Also when loading a wheelchair i got black scuff marks on it. I think they picked a real bad color. Couldn't imagine if i was a smoker how yellow it could be. The auto stick is a cool feature but yet i find hardly no use for. I have put roughly 6,000 miles on the jeep and i am very happy with it priced under 18000 including tax and title. It was a great value for a reliable roomy vehicle. I have never owned a jeep before but when my time is up with this one ill be at the jeep dealership looking first. Not to mention the lifetime power train warranty on the motor and transmission. Its almost too good to believe!!!
