Newly Jeep Girl

I love Jeeps. I've always liked the way they look. And people are so very sentimental when it comes to their Jeeps.

I wanted a convertible when I was younger. I also wanted four-wheel drive. And big tires. I want a ride that sits higher than my civic. I want to be able to pull a trailer. I want to go the lake, the beach, camping, up mountains. I want to drive over curbs. I want to park where the big trucks park. I want to load up my dogs take them where I go without having hair all over my car to vacuum.

That combination is singularly fullfilled by my Jeep. While I think it may take a while for the squared headlights of the Wrangler YJ to grow on me, I love my Jeep. I've only had it about three weeks. Yesterday, I discovered (to my chagrin) that the fuel gauge does not work. Otherwise, it has been a hoss. And it's red.

I can't wait to take the doors off this summer. My Jeep is sexy.


Larry's Comment: Square headlights, rectangular headlights, round headlights, triangular headlights...it's all just a matter of taste when you boil it all down.

The YJ Wrangler is one of the best Jeeps ever made, and it will never be any less a Jeep because of its square/rectangular headlights.
