OFF TO THE RIVERSIDE IN MY THAR CRDe 4X4

Reaching the place where these photographs were taken is difficult as it is boggy.


One has to cross one width of the boggy ,sandy, muddy river bed as the vehicle just tends to sink down immediately and I had to cross over with considerable speed in 2nd gear low.

I think only a very light powerful 4WD like the Mahindra THAR CRDe, which is just 1600 Kgs, ever reached this spot.

It is a beautiful place.



Larry's Comment: I'm glad Mahindra is keeping up some of the Jeep tradition with the THAR in India.

I wonder if the THAR would be a hit here in the USA?

Yes,the Mahindra THAR CRDe 4X4 would certainly be loved in the USA. Hope the manufacturers are able to keep up with the demand from the domestic market. As of now this vehicle is not available off the shelf.
