My husband and I purchased a 1997 Jeep Cherokee from its previous owner for only seven hundred dollars. Even better, the man was willing to take two payments of three hundred and fifty dollars for the jeep.
The interior of the Jeep was in excellent condition, but it did need some body work from where it had been involved in a small fender bender. The rear right quarter panel was dented, and it was going to require painting as well.
The engine was in fantastic shape, and it ran beautifully. In our situation the man worked with my husband, and he knew our dire need for transportation that would fit our three children. He wanted a new car, but he also wanted $1000 for the Jeep.
We were able to talk him down to the $750, and agree upon the price. My husband also threw in helping the man move a new sofa he had bought as part of the agreed upon price of the Jeep.
Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of our Jeep. We have since sold it, and been able to afford to purchase a brand new car of our own.
