Well here's a neat little story.
My dad works with a guy who has been a Cherokee fan almost his whole life. So this year he bought a 2001 Ford Explorer, decent price, decent vehicle.
Well he had a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4, and I knew this, so I had my dad ask him what he was doing with it. Apparently he was junking it, so I told my dad to make him an offer and I'll pay him back if he buys it for me. So my dad jokingly offered him a whopping $50. Best part is, HE AGREED!
So I am now the proud owner once again of my beloved Cherokee! She has 220K miles on her but still runs pretty good. Needs an exhaust, radiator, and a windshield, but that's it.
Drove her home 40 miles, with 3 quarts of oil, a bad radiator leak, and less than a quarter tank of gas...she drove straight, true, and smooth at 75mph! Cheap no?
Larry's Comment: Cheap..yes! What a great deal Ian! $50 for a running Jeep Cherokee 4x4 is about as close to "free" as you can get. Even if you put a couple of thousand $$ into it you still come out ahead. Nice going!
Comments for REAL cheap Jeep!!
