I have had a soft top Cabrio 1994 Korando for year now. Just got it back from the mechanic after a small "revamp" job.
It's a great fun little 4x4. It's easy to drive, quite agile in traffic. Also an OK on fuel consumption, unlike the American ones that are real drinkers. And a diesel is always better in a 4x4.
Tough as hell also (did bump an express way guard rail once and the Korando escaped with minor bruisings, unlike the guard rail). Parts are fairly cheap and fairly easy to come by. You may have to look elsewhere other than Ssangong, but a good parts shop will know what to do.
All in all, a bundle of fun and joy.
In addition, you can also fiddle with soft tops a bit. Have a full top, half a top, passenger sun cover and many more. You can also use the "windows" without the top.
Mine is a short, 4-seater 4x4.
