Tougher Jeeps are the full size Jeeps from the late 60's up to the early 80's.


Coolest ones are the older '41-'50 style Jeeps.

My number one pick is the full size Jeep truck.

They had the toughest 4x4 setup, straight forward, no strings attached. Raw power and 4x4 prowess. Forget those little baby Jeeps, those are for girls...haha. Buy a big boy Jeep.


Larry's Comment: Now you've gone and done it! You called Wrangler and CJ Jeeps "baby Jeeps"...and said they were "for girls"...ouch!

Just kidding! Your truck is really tough and cool (but so is my "baby" Wrangler).

WOW, he just did not say that did he...I have an '80 CJ5 with a 360 that has been run through the mill, balanced, blue printed, and dyno tested at 425 HP. Has locked front and rear 4.10s and 35 Super Swampers. Can get places the full sized can't, but I love the big rigs too. Anything Jeep!

Have had a few, loved them. Noticed two sitting by a garage today when I went fishing. Brought back memories.
Jeep History

Your Jeep is tough, no doubt. They're built that way. It looks awesome too!

However , the "Baby Jeeps" comment was not acceptable. Do you know Jeep history D? I own 3, a flat fender, a 5, and a 7. My '49 flat fender will climb a tree if you point it towards one. Has 5:38s from the factory. The 5 pulls wheelies! Some mods, but factory power plant. The 7 is in resto as we speak.

Learn about Jeeps history. They were made for a reason. WW2.
